The Wellery | Where Self-Care Finds Company

Whether you are longing for more connection and meaning, to live life rather than just get through it, and to accept yourself as enough rather than always striving for perfection, The Wellery will help you embrace the beautifully messy aspects of wellbeing while approaching life in a way that is uniquely yours.

Hi,

I’m Claire, an eternal explorer of all things wellbeing and all the feelings, though I often forget to intermittently fast, struggle to like wild swimming and regularly forget the podcast epiphany I had only hours before.

You’ve just stumbled upon The Wellery. You may have taken a few twists and turns to get here but I’m thrilled that you’ve made it. Take a moment if you need it, You’re probably carrying quite a lot right now.

If you’re always set in try mode, are a seeker like me, and will follow curiosity anywhere (unless anxiety gets to you first, which is entirely possible), you’ve just arrived in exactly the right place.

This is how I imagine The Wellery: part cafe, part bookshop, part events space, part lecture venue, part community hub, part therapy room, and part coworking space, all mixed together in our imaginations and with considerably better parking.

It’s designed to help us explore our everyday wellbeing in real terms. Less about self-improvement and more about self-understanding. More about acceptance and less about striving.

We’ll be discovering practices that make sense in our uncertain world, finding a new way to well, getting creative with life, playing with ideas and experimenting with possibilities

We’ll be learning to navigate our days with a little more kindness, curiosity and self-trust.

And we’ll be doing it together.

Because one of the things I’ve learned over the years is that while books help, podcasts help, journaling helps and good ideas help, there comes a point when many of us realise we don’t just need something.

We need someone. We need conversations. We need places where we can think out loud, ask the questions we’re carrying around, and discover that other people are carrying them too.

I hope The Wellery can be one of those places. A place you return to whenever life feels overwhelming, all the feelings become a little too much, or you’re looking for something and you're not entirely sure what that something is.

Join me as we explore from a place of curiosity, get a little messier in the world of wellbeing and lean into more of our feelings, even though emotions are a little scary.

What We’ll Explore Together

Throughout the year, we’ll gather around some of the questions and experiences that shape our lives. Sometimes that might be burnout, overwhelm and rest. At other times it might be anxiety, uncertainty, friendship, purpose, belonging, creativity, self-trust, emotions or what it means to build a life that feels more supportive and sustainable.

Every few months we’ll choose a wellbeing theme and explore it together through essays, reflections, books, podcasts, practical experiments and live conversations.

Think of them as seasonal wellbeing prescriptions. Not because we’re trying to fix ourselves, but because understanding what’s happening and discovering what helps can make it easier to navigate whatever season of life we’re in.

One season we might explore burnout and the role positive emotions play in recovery. Another might focus on uncertainty and how we find our footing when we don’t have all the answers. Or we might spend time exploring connection and what happens when friendship, community, nature and creativity become part of our wellbeing practice.

The themes will change. The questions will evolve. But the intention remains the same: to create a place where we can explore wellbeing together, with curiosity, honesty and a little more company than we might otherwise have.

When you join The Wellery, you’ll get access to exclusive resources, deeper conversations and a community built around real, sustainable practices that support our mental and emotional wellbeing.
